Photo Jolts!

Based on the ISPI award-winning book by Glenn Hughes and Sivasilam ‘Thiagi’ Thiagarajan, this session shows anyone how to increase clarity, creativity, and conversation through the use of images.

During this session, you will identify situations that would benefit from the use of photo jolts, select appropriate photo jolts activities, facilitate and debrief a photo jolts activity, and apply photo jolts to a one-on-one coaching event.

Glenn Hughes is an award-winning author, facilitator and learning leader. He is Senior Director of Learning and Development at KLA-Tencor Corporation, a leading provider of process control and yield management solutions. Glenn’s book, “PHOTO JOLTS!” was co-written with Sivasailam ‘Thiagi’ Thiagarajan. “Photo Jolts!” received The ISPI 2014 Award of Excellence for Outstanding Human Performance Communication.

Dr. Barbara Glaeser

Barbara Glasser

Dr. Barbara Glaeser is a Professor in the Dept of Special Education at CSUF where she teaches Adult Learning Theory and Research Methods. She also coordinates the Education Specialist Program to train teachers to work with students with disabilities and serves as Accreditation Coordinator. She was co-author of the PROCESS Program Improvement Grant that is currently funding several projects including training teachers in local schools to co-teach to improve achievement for diverse students.

Dr. Cynthia Gautreau

Cynthia GautreauDr. Cynthia Gautreau is an associate professor at CSU Fullerton. She is the Director of the Instructional Design and Technology Program. Her current research focuses on technology integration in higher education, instructional design, and social media. Her education background includes a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, Master of Education in Education Technology and Multimedia, a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies Pre-credential. She is a veteran educator with 22 years of experience in education at various levels.
